Amy Schumer Thinks She Looks Like Dianna Agron “Stung by a Million Bees”

Amy Schumer is a size 6 — and proud of it! She’s below the national female average, a size 12 to 14, yet because she doesn’t fit the stereotypical actress archetype, she’s met with a different set of questions, double standards, and expectations. The comedienne, who will host the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, opened up to Ellen Degeneres on her daytime talk show about being a Hollywood unicorn.
“I don’t fit in here,” she said of being in sunny California. “Just straight-up body type. Like in L.A., my arms register as legs and it’s like, ‘Why is that octopus out on Sunset?’ It’s not for me out here … I just sit in my room bawling,” Schumer admitted sarcastically (with a hint of virtuous truth).
Amy Schumer Thinks She Looks Like Dianna Agron “Stung by a Million Bees”
While she’s obviously exaggerating, the Comedy Central star divulged that her unique status within the entertainment industry has even kept her from befriending peers, more specifically, thin, blonde, and perky Dianna Agron. “She played the cheerleader Quinn. That lets you know how hot she is … If my name were Quinn on a show, they’d be like, ‘Oh, the jolly Irish groundskeeper that does a jig time and again?’” She continued, “I look like her if she were stung by a million bees. It’s true! I look like her if she were like becoming The Hulk. She wanted to be friends and I’m like, ‘We can’t. We’re not the same thing.’ She was telling me hot people problems, like, ‘He won’t stop calling,’ and I’m like, ‘I hate that.’”
Hot people problems like posing on the red carpet, a practice even the most accomplished red carpet stars can’t even seem to master (hello, Lea Michele!). “The whole night [Agron]’s posing because she knows people are taking pictures of her. I obviously don’t! I learned that my resting face is just a scowl. And I learned that I have what I now call an ‘at-risk chin.’ [My neck-to-chin area] is not a good section. If I don’t keep it at sea level it just doubles itself … I’ve got no idea people are taking pictures. I’m pounding red wine. I thought it was great.”
Her positive outlook and absurd yet totally amusing attitude make her a rare breed. A welcome one (no matter if she’s a loner that can’t take a step-and-repeat photo or not).

Whatever Rihanna wears, sells—even if that’s head-to-toe purple.
The superstar wore a furry, oversized lilac coat by Marques Almeida, paired with pink Doc Martens, tons of hairpins, hoop earrings, chokers, a funny-looking cigarette, and her new fav lip gloss to Coachella this weekend. And while there’s no word on just how many floor-length purple furs have sold since Sunday, Refinery29 reports that her matching purple gloss has completely sold out.

The lip color—called “Purple Haze”—came from her close friend Leandra’s indie makeup line, Free Spirits Cosmetics. It retailed for $25 at The Fashion Junkee (before it disappeared from the Internet entirely, that is).
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the Rihanna Effect (the Rih-fect, for short) in action. In addition to selling out stadiums, Rih’s also been credited for starting (and reigniting) such trends as dressed-up athletic-wear, bucket hats, sheer tops, and slip dresses. She’s also been known to try a daring lip, even going blue and green on occasion. image

If you weren’t among the first round of chicks to get their hands on “Purple Haze,” you’re not totally out of luck—there are plenty of other options out there to help you achieve Rihanna’s look. We’d suggest trying NYX Cosmetics Wicked Lippie in “Immortal,” Lime Crime Unicorn Lipstick in “Airborne Unicorn,” and Kat von D Studded Kiss Lipstick in “Wonderchilde.”

8 Crazy Wedding Themes You Have to Read to Believe

8 Crazy Wedding Themes You Have to Read to Believe

For some couples, daring to be different means swapping out a classic wedding cake for a modern day dessert bar. Others, however, definitely aren’t afraid to think outside of the box. We’re talking way, way outside of the box! We asked a handful of wedding guests and planners to dish the deets on the most unconventional wedding themes they’ve ever seen. From dinosaurs to Dungeons & Dragons, we’ve officially heard it all now.
A Human Skulls Wedding
"I planned a wedding for this eccentric couple who both share a passion for collecting human skulls, bones and other human artifacts. Let’s just say I was able to tastefully place some touches of human DNA throughout their special day." — Michael
A Talladega Nights Wedding
“When I was younger I was the flower girl in my parent’s friends’ NASCAR-themed wedding. The bride and groom were both really into racing and had me throw hot wheels out as I walked down the aisle instead of flowers. The bride nearly tripped on one of the cars!” — Dawn
A Preppy Lily Pulitzer Wedding
“When I worked in catering we had a Lily Pulitzer-themed wedding and literally everything you could imagine was pink and green. The getaway car was even a Lily-wrapped Jeep!” — Francesca
A Dinosaur-Inspired Wedding
“I’m not really sure what the overall theme was supposed to be, but at one wedding I attended the couple had a camouflage cake and plastic dinosaurs scattered all over the tables. The ring bearer was even dressed as a puppeteer and had a big dinosaur puppet. Needless to say, it was very strange. A fun time though.” — Ellie
A Strict Farm to Table Wedding
“I recently worked on a farm to table wedding that was completely out in the middle of a field. There were no floral decorations, only farm fresh fruits, garlic, vegetables and herbs. The guests had to bring their own dinner plate, wash it after they ate and have the bride and groom sign it before they left as a momento.” — Paula
A Dungeons & Dragons-Themed Wedding
“While the couple wore traditional wedding attire, their décor was full on Dungeon & Dragons, including personal crests on 13-feet tall banners set all around the ceremony site. When guests moved into the reception they were greeted with a seating chart right off the board game and then had to locate their table, which may have easily been the three-headed monster! And, of course, there was a dragon wrapped around the wedding cake.” — Courtney
A Very Medieval Wedding
“The whole wedding, from the ceremony to the reception (including the food and festivities), was based on the medieval time period. All the guests were encouraged to dress in medieval garb and it actually worked because everyone was so into it and had a lot of fun. At the ceremony, there were logs and wood for the guests to sit on and at the reception there were court jesters and magicians. Naturally, the food was from the medieval time period. It was interesting, to say the least.” — Shafonne
An Outer Space-Themed Wedding
“The craziest request I had was from a couple who wanted an outer space-themed wedding, which terrified the mother of the bride. The bride really liked a cake that resembled a science fair project with revolving planets and the couple loved Star Trek. To satisfy everyone’s wishes, I created a very classy outer space reception with black pipe and drape, then hired a lighting company to project flying lasers and meteor showers on the ceiling. Instead of a chandelier, I rented a large Air Star and had a custom cover put on it to turn it into a planet over the dance floor. The science fair cake got interpreted into a custom painted three-tiered cake of Van Gogh’s Starry Night. Needless to say, the parents were grateful and relieved I interpreted the crazy ideas into something wonderful.” — Lynn

3 Ways To Dress Your Guy For Easter Weekend

Waking up to birds chirping outside your window and the warm sun streaming through your curtains can only mean one thing: spring has finally sprung. And with Easter weekend just around the corner, now’s the time of year that you’re free to transition your wool suits and chunky sweater into something a little more… spring-suitable.
Whether it’s choosing a lighter suit or adding a pop of color into your everyday wardrobe, we’ve laid out three Easter-appropriate outfits that you can seamlessly transition into the rest of your spring attire. Now hop to it!
The SuitIf you’re the type of guy who likes to get dressed up for Easter Sunday, try going for a cotton blend suit rather than a traditional wool suit. Dark grays and navy might be great for the winter months, but they’re far too heavy now. Instead, try a khaki or light gray suit to give your look a lighter vibe.3 Ways To Dress Your Guy For Easter Weekend

The Casual
Spring weather can be unpredictable—and a slight breeze calls for keeping warm in a cozy cashmere sweater. But this classic wardrobe staple doesn’t have to be boring. Get experimental by choosing a non-traditional color, like this unexpected pink version. Wearing it with a pair of expertly fitted white jeans will leave zero question about which season you’re dressing for. (Spring, BTW.)

The Alternative
Let’s face it: A suit and bright sweater aren’t for everyone. Thankfully, there are other ways to embrace those first warmer months.
Start by incorporating a goes-with-anything lightweight shirt, like this pajama-style chambray shirt from Club Monaco. It’ll bring your look a bit of flare, but still keep you looking casually chic. Add a suede jacket to amplify your outfit’s rocker edge, and some clear-framed sunglasses, like these from Warby Parker, to help your winterized-eyes adjust to all that sunlight outside. We know—it’s been a while.

1. Look after yourself as a whole. Making sure you have shiny white teeth should be part of your beauty routine. I have more confidence when I know i’m looking my best and it truly does reflect in my personality when i’m shooting. I use Oral B 3D White White Strips regularly as part of my normal oral upkeep, and then if I know i’m shooting I do a morning and night ritual a few days in the lead up to make sure they’re as white as they can be.
2. I don’t do this all the time, but my skin can look quite pale once photographed, so a tan helps to add back a little colour.
3. Wash your hair the night before. The worst is when you have just washed your hair and then try to shoot (it never does what you want it too) or if your hair is oilier than preferred and then you have the same issue.
4. Paint your nails! Its amazing what you can do with photoshop these days, but digitally painting on nail polish isn’t fun! Make sure to paint both your fingers and toes before you shoot.

Meet Two Emerging Designers Who Are Redefining Menswear

Meet Two Emerging Designers Who Are Redefining Menswear
(A look from Craig Green Spring 2015. Courtesy of the designer.)
London, land of free-thinking designers, has, not surprisingly, generated two of today’s most exciting men’s wear talents. Craig Green, who attended Central Saint Martins to focus on sculpture and painting but “accidentally” fell into fashion, creates strange clothes that, in the case of his spring 2015 collection—a study in purity, with samurai-style robes shown on barefoot models—have moved audiences to tears. His fall collection, which explores the idea of institutions and features high-tech nylon trousers and cinched cotton T-shirts, is, he admits, his most classical yet.

“I suppose I’m more commercially conscious now,” says Green, 28, who sells to Barneys New York and Dover Street Market. “But that hasn’t diminished the focus on craft.” Craft is also at the heart of Wales Bonner, a brand-new line designed by the English Jamaican Central Saint Martins grad Grace Wales Bonner. Her opulent fall 2015 collection, which includes pinstriped denim jackets, flares paired with ivory silk cummerbunds, and crushed-velvet suits embroidered with crystals and cowrie shells, is inspired by what the 24-year-old calls a “symphony” of references, from the Harlem Renaissance photographer Carl Van Vechten to the late radical poet Amiri Baraka to Coco Chanel. “Chanel represents European elegance,” says Bonner, who has just been picked up by Joyce in Hong Kong and Machine-A in London. “I wanted to take that and disturb it a bit with African elements.”

Amal Clooney Looks Gorgeous in Gucci

Amal Clooney in a Stella McCartney jumpsuit.
Amal Clooney is taking up residence in New York nicely. Teaching at Columbia Law School for the spring semester, she's not only channeling the sophisticated yet edgy sartorial sense of the Big Apple, but the elegant prestige of being an Ivy League professor. Spotted in the West Village, the multi-talented woman wore a seasonally appropriate Gucci getup. She paired an orange tank with a python collar accent and a camel-colored midi skirt. The look was finished with a black Balenciaga bag and LK Bennett nude pumps. From Oscar de la Renta and Stella McCartney to Dior and Dolce & Gabbana, Clooney (née Alamuddin) is always on point — in fashion and beyond.
